The short version: your invoices are built entirely in your browser and never sent to us. Here's exactly what that means.
Last updated: June 13, 2026
In one sentence: FastInvoicePDF runs in your browser, so the business and client details you type into an invoice stay on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
This Privacy Policy explains how FastInvoicePDF (“we”, “us”, the “Service”) handles information when you use our free invoice generator. We've built the Service to be private by design: it works without an account, and the core invoicing functionality never transmits your invoice contents to us.
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
Everything you type into an invoice — your business name, client details, line items, rates, tax, notes, and any logo you add — is processed locally in your browser. This information:
Because this data lives on your device, you are in control of it. Clearing your browser's storage for this site removes it.
We aim to collect as little as possible. We do not require registration and we do not ask for your name, email, or payment details to use the generator.
We may collect aggregated, anonymous analytics — such as page views, approximate region, browser type, and which features are used — to understand how the Service is used and to improve it. This data is not tied to your identity and does not include the contents of your invoices.
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically record standard technical information (such as IP address and request timestamps) for security and reliability. These logs are retained for a limited period and are not used to build a profile of you.
We use your browser's local storage to remember your in-progress invoice and your preferences (for example, your chosen template or currency). We may use minimal, privacy-respecting cookies or similar technologies for essential functionality and anonymous analytics. Some pages display ads served by Google Ad Manager and Google AdSense, which may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads where permitted. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services and manage ad personalisation in Google Ad Settings. Your invoice content is never shared with advertisers.
You can clear local storage and cookies at any time through your browser settings. Doing so will remove any saved invoice data.
To deliver the Service we rely on a small number of third parties, such as our web host, a content delivery network for fonts and scripts, and an analytics provider. These providers may process limited technical data on our behalf and are expected to handle it responsibly. We do not sell your data to anyone.
The Service is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes may be highlighted on the site. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
